The word lighthouse means to be a light and a beacon to this community.
Covenant
The word covenant is to be in deep divine relationships, both with God and with each other.
fellowship
Fellowship: to go beyond the typical church-like atmosphere and bring together a diverse multi-cultural group of people that will serve the Lord together, the way it is in the Kingdom of God.
Vision
The vision of Lighthouse Covenant Fellowship comes from Ezekiel 34:16 “I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak…”
Mission
The mission of Lighthouse Covenant Fellowship is to Engage, Evangelize, Empower.
Our History
God gave the founding pastor the vision for Lighthouse Covenant Fellowship before the physical church began. In November of 1992, a diverse, multicultural group of founding members began meeting in his home. For months, they met on Monday nights, spending time worshiping, studying the word of God, and praying together. Their goal was to seek God’s plan for this community. Lighthouse Covenant Fellowship of the Assemblies of God came into existence in April 1993 under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Samuel Huddleston.
In 2004, Pastor Sam was elected to the position of Assistant District Superintendent of the Northern CA-Nevada District. Pastor E. Phillip Green and his wife Ola had been faithfully serving LCF and accepted the call to lead the church in July of 2004. They served for 20 years and retired in September 2024.
Lighthouse Covenant Fellowship continues to evolve into a place where everyone is welcome. Engaging the community is our focus; and serving Christ is the goal. We strive to reach others by developing men and women who have a heart for God to disciple others. Our building project is underway to open a new Community Center on the lot adjacent to our current building to further build God’s Kingdom here on earth.
